• The vehicle can only be towed using a towline to pull it up onto the bed of a tow truck.
• The vehicle may only be transported on a flatbed tow truck, with all four wheels on the bed. Never tow the vehicle with any of the vehicle's wheels rolling on the ground.

Activating towing modeTowing mode is used when the vehicle has to roll freely in order to pull it up onto a recovery vehicle’s platform.

1. Press in the center display.
2. Press Car status.
3. Select Service.
4. Press Activate Tow Mode.
5. Follow the instructions in the screen.

The vehicle is now in towing mode and rollsfreely.

WARNING: Failure to release the automatic transmission from Park (P) before recovering the vehicle, can result in serious damage to the vehicle. When vehicle recovery is complete, make sure to return the automatic transmission to P and refit the engine cover.
