Winching a vehicle with power:

• If the vehicle has power and the gear can be set to N (Neutral) for the wheels to roll  freely, use the tow eye to winch onto the flatbed.

Winching a vehicle with NO power:

• If the vehicle has no power and the Electronic Parking Brake is engaged, use skid  pads or skates on all four wheels and nylon straps on the lower control arms.

CAUTION: Never use the recovery eye to pull the vehicle out of a ditch. Doing so can significantly damage the vehicle. When recovering the vehicle from a ditch, use nylon straps attached to either the front or rear lower control arms.
