When moving the vehicle onto a transporter or trailer, adhere to the following:

• Where possible, switch on the vehicle’s electrical system and select Neutral (N).
• Activate the transmission park release mechanism.
• Release the Electric Parking Brake (EPB). Where the vehicle has no electrical power.
• Move the vehicle extremely slowly and do not exceed a distance of 500 m.
• A wheel lift with dollies on the trailing end can be used to tow this vehicle short distances, however, a car carrier method is preferred.

WARNING: Failure to release the automatic transmission from Park (P) before recovering the vehicle, can result in serious damage to the vehicle. When vehicle recovery is complete, make sure to return the automatic transmission to P and refit the engine cover.
